Flight Arrival and Departure Times
If you are flying in to Vancouver International Airport (YVR) on the day of your cruise make sure you allow plenty of time to get to the ship. Carnival recommends arriving by 2:00 PM. After your cruise, your flight should not leave before 11:30 AM. Travel time between the Vancouver International Airport and the Canada Place cruise port is, allowing for traffic, 45 minutes. Parking at the Port of Vancouver
The port has a secure 2-level parking garage at the port. For discounted parking at Canada Place (the cruise terminal), check out Vinci Park Canada Place at least 3 weeks before your cruise. (January 2011)
Other Parking options for the Port of Vancouver
There is an offsite parking lot operated by Cruisepark. Shuttles run between the lot and the cruise terminal. Rates are based on the length of your stay. They only accept credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, American Express.) If you are arriving by car the night before your cruise, several of the hotels in the area may let you leave your car in their lot while you cruise. However, you will need to stay at least one night before your cruise – look for "Park 'n Stay" rates advertised by the hotel. These hotels usually have a shuttle to take you to and from the cruise port. (August 2010)
Getting From Vancouver Airport (YVR) to the Port of Vancouver
Cruise Line transfers are $24 per person each way from YVR. This is compared to $40 CAD for cab fare. Travel time between the Vancouver International Airport and the Canada Place cruise port is, allowing for traffic, 45 minutes.

Boarding Time for Carnival Cruises out of Vancouver
Boarding on your Carnival Cruise from Vancouver starts at 12:30 PM. If possible get there early to avoid the lines. You must be checked-in at least 90 minutes prior to the scheduled cruise departure.
